  • A Dolphin Sail on Wild Hearts is a Learning Adventure

A Dolphin Sail on Wild Hearts is a Learning Adventure

At Sail Wild Hearts, we try to offer a number of experiences to entertain everyone in your crew. From our romantic sunset sails to our family adventure cruises, there’s something for everyone aboard our catamaran. Returning March 20 is a perennial favorite of folks of all ages: our Dolphins & Blue Angels Sail.

We invite you to join us for a once-in-a-lifetime experience of spotting dolphins in the wild aboard Sail Wild Hearts! We’ll head out toward Pensacola to catch sight of our local dolphin population in their natural habitat. While on board, fill up on breakfast and learn facts you’ve always wanted to know about dolphins.

Bottlenose dolphins are some of the smartest and friendliest animals on the planet. Did you know these incredibly fast swimmers have two stomachs and live up to 50 years? Feel free to ask questions and our crew will give you the scoop while you snap gorgeous pictures and make memories to last a lifetime.

In addition to spotting dolphins in the wild, our cruises include a unique view of the Blue Angels’ heart-stopping escapades, a sail to a historic Civil War fort in a protected lagoon, snorkeling, kayaking, paddleboarding and more. Just pick the adventure you are seeking!

There’s no reason learning – or the fun – should stop during spring break. A cruise with Sail Wild Hearts is the perfect way to keep learners of all ages engaged in the world around them even when school’s out.

  • This Mardi Gras, Laissez Les Bons Temps Rouler

This Mardi Gras, Laissez Les Bons Temps Rouler

Let the good times roll this Mardi Gras season! The parades, balls, moon pies and king cakes make for a festive few weeks spent with friends and family. While you’re celebrating Mardi Gras in all its purple, green and gold glory, why not treat your own krewe to a little adventure?

Start your Fat Tuesday off right with a morning Dolphin Cruise on the Wild Hearts catamaran. The Orange Beach parade doesn’t start until 2 p.m., so there’s plenty of time for a sail on the beautiful, glittering Gulf of Mexico.

Our Dolphin Cruises usually depart at 10 a.m. and last for two hours, so sit back and enjoy the view. As our yellow sailboat skims across the gentle waves, we hope to attract a few bottlenose dolphins along the way.

Need a little time to recoup after the Mardi Gras madness? A Sunset Cruise is the perfect way to unwind. Check our website for post-Mardi Gras cruise availability. While family and friends are in town, give them a tour of the Alabama Gulf Coast they’ll never forget.

  • Three Ways to Make Your Orange Beach Cruise Even Better

Three Ways to Make Your Orange Beach Cruise Even Better

Colorful sunsets, playful dolphins and good company . . . it’s hard to improve upon perfection. An Orange Beach sailing excursion with the Wild Hearts crew is all those things. But there are a few ways you can take your sail from great to outstanding.

    1. Leave your worries behind. Forgetting about your troubles is rule #1 in sailing. Once you step on the boat, your stress and problems aren’t allowed. Think of it this way: You didn’t purchase a ticket for all those worries (ahem, extra baggage), so they get left at the dock. After all, you will immediately feel relaxed once we lift the sails and turn off our twin motors. There simply is nothing like the sound of the wind pushing a sailboat through the water.
    2. Bring the people you love. Good company can really make your trip. Load up your favorite people for an afternoon of sun and sailing. Challenge your bestie to a hula hoop contest and be comfortable enough to chuckle a little at yourself. You were probably 12 the last time you hula hooped anyway, right?
    3. Let’s get practical. It isn’t often, but sometimes our gulf waters like to really give us a ride. If it’s too rough, we will sail the back bays of Orange Beach. It’s still a picturesque setting and you don’t miss anything. You’ll spy dolphins swimming nearby and we will still have those hula hoop contests!  However, if you think you’ll have a bout of motion sickness, plan ahead and take advantage of one of the many motion sickness medicines available over the counter.

Now that we’ve prepped you on making the most of your Orange Beach dolphin cruise, check out our website to book your excursion online.
